  • KEY SAFETY ITEMS:

  • FLUID ANALYSIS
    • Engine levels are good and there are no particles or metal indicators.
    • Hydraulic Pump does not make any unusual noises and the roller functions correctly.
    • Differentials or finals are dry and the machine has drive.
  • PERFORMANCE CHECKS
    • The machine cycle times are to factory specifications
    • Performance satisfactory
  • ENGINE
    • Startup no excess smoke and roller idles perfectly
    • Speed settings are perfect
    • Oil pressures are good
    • Fuel system is good
    • Exhaust system is good
    • Cooling system: Coolant quality, Coolant pump, Radiator and oil cooler, Lines and hoses are all good
    • Charging system is functioning
    • Leaks (fuel, oil, coolant, and gaskets) no leaks detected on motor
    • There doesn’t appear to be any abnormal noises or blow-by

 

  • TRANSMISSION & HYDRAULICS
    • FNR operation smooth with no problems
    • Track pump/motor phase (hydrostat) is good
  • DIFFERENTIALS – FINAL DRIVES
    • Drivelines/U-joint
    • Oscillation joints
    • Differential lock/limited slip check
    • Front-wheel-drive operation
    • Steering clutch/brake operation
  • HYDRAULICS
    • Pump performance —cycle times, pressures, and temperature are good and within spec.
    • There are NO Pump noises
    • Cylinder condition is good on both Steering cylinders
    • Control valves and relief valves are all dry and good
    • Hoses and lines are ok
    • Propel and steering is good
    • Auxiliary systems
  • FRAME AND CHASSIS
    • Engine and mainframes mountings are all good.
    • Pin and bushing joints have minimal wear at the steering points.
    • Axles have minimal wear.
    • Articulation joints have very little wear.
  • UNDERCARRIAGE/TIRES/RIMS
    • I would estimate that there is 30 % Life left in the tyres.
  • GROUND-ENGAGING TOOLS
    • The drum is good with minimal wear.

NOTES

 

  • The machine operates and performs perfectly and go straight to work.
  • Cosmetically it has a few areas where rust has to be removed.
  • The drum rubbers are good.
  • The steering column has been re-fibreglassed
  • The fuse box has had the metal lid replaced with perpex so the operator can see the fuses ???
